These terms are the promises we keep to each other when you use Lingoshelf (also called “English Planner”; the “Planner”). By using the Planner, you agree to these terms. [Expert review]

1. What the Planner is

A study log: record the time and content of your language study, and it becomes books and bookshelves in your own growing library. You can use it without signing in. If you sign in, your records are kept on our server so you can continue on other devices.

2. Accounts

• You must be 14 or older to sign in (create an account). [Expert review]
• You sign in with a Google or Kakao account. You are responsible for your account and may not lend or transfer it.
• Your librarian name (nickname) may not impersonate others or be offensive.

3. Please don’t

• Copy or redistribute the Planner’s screens, illustrations, text, or design without permission
• Collect the Planner’s content automatically with programs or bots (crawling, scraping)
• Build another service that copies or closely imitates the Planner
• Overload the server, bypass security, or try to access other people’s accounts or records
• Harass other users, or post offensive or illegal content

If this happens, we may suspend your use or close your account after notice (or with notice afterwards in urgent cases). [Expert review]

4. Copyright

• The rights to the Planner’s illustrations, characters, text, design, and software belong to the operator.
• The rights to your study records, writing, and expression notes belong to you. The Planner uses them only to store them and show them to you. [Expert review]
• Sentences suggested by AI are labeled (e.g. “Suggested by AI”). They are for reference and may be inaccurate.

5. Beta service

• During the beta, features may change, pause, or be removed.
• We work to keep your records safe, but cannot fully guarantee it during the beta. [Expert review: limitation of liability]
• If we change these terms, we will announce it on this page and in the app at least 7 days in advance. [Expert review: notice period]

6. Leaving and deleting your records

• After signing in, tap “탈퇴하기” (Delete account) at the bottom of the My tab. Your account, server records, and the records on that device are deleted right away.
• If you cannot use the app, email lingoshelf.app@gmail.com.
• What we collect and how to delete it is described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Paid features

All features are currently free. If paid features are added, we will announce prices and refund terms in advance and ask for your separate consent. [Expert review]
